I'll try to send it on Instagram, maybe divided into several parts:
Mrs. Joan Baez, We in Italy we have found our "glue" in the Palestinian cause.
A myriad of Italians, of all ages, of all religions, of all political views, have united in protest against the Zionist regime of Israel, against its war crimes and the Nazi genocide of the Palestinians.
I wonder if Americans are only outraged when the victims are other Americans?
If Roosevelt had also reasoned in this way, perhaps today Europe would still be a total dominion of Nazism.
But I also wonder if Trump had been in Roosevelt's place, what would have happened..?

I don't know what you think of what the Dalai Lama says, when he speaks of 7 billion brothers, all equal despite the small differences, cultural, religion, language, color, etc.
I don't even know what information is reaching the US about the situation in Palestine, we in Italy, despite Israel's total censorship, still have the true images and sure evidence of the genocide that is taking place, of at least 60,000 Palestinians killed in the most cruel way, especially women and children.
The evidence is absolutely ascertained and obvious, there is no longer even the concern to hide it.
But do you in the US really believe that the Palestinians are all terrorists, or that the rest of the civilized world has become anti-Semitic?
We in Italy also have problems, for example we have the most fascist government since the war, allied with Israel and Netanyahu, the largest seller/buyer of arms to/from Israel.
But the Italian population is rebelling everywhere, and complaints are being filed against the international court for complicity in genocide for the members of the current government.

Now I know that the US also has enormous problems and maybe it is the edge of a dictatorship, serious and real.
I also understand that you are worried about your children and grandchildren, about their future, but even if the American people do not rebel against this shame and usurpation, democracy throughout the rest of the world becomes equally in danger.
When it is necessary to rebel it must be done absolutely, but always do it intelligently, if the Americans had not rebelled in the 60s or against Nixon's arrogance, US Democracy would already be dead and the fascist MAGA Right would control the fate of the entire world, with all the imaginable international consequences.

Mi chiedo se gli americani si indignino solo quando le vittime sono altri americani.

Non so cosa pensi di ciò che dice il Dalai Lama, quando parla di 7 miliardi di fratelli, tutti uguali nonostante le piccole differenze culturali, religiose, linguistiche, di colore, ecc.
Non so nemmeno quali informazioni giungano negli Stati Uniti sulla situazione in Palestina, noi in Italia, nonostante la censura totale di Israele, abbiamo ancora le immagini vere e le prove certe del genocidio in atto, di almeno 60.000 palestinesi uccisi nel modo più crudele, soprattutto donne e bambini.
Le prove sono assolutamente accertate ed evidenti, non c'è più nemmeno la preoccupazione di nasconderle.
Ma voi negli Stati Uniti credete davvero che i palestinesi siano tutti terroristi, o che il resto del mondo civile sia diventato antisemita?
Anche noi in Italia abbiamo dei problemi, ad esempio abbiamo il governo più fascista dalla guerra, alleato con Israele e Netanyahu, il più grande venditore/acquirente di armi da/per Israele. Ma la popolazione italiana si sta ribellando ovunque e vengono presentate denunce contro la corte internazionale per complicità in genocidio ai danni dei membri dell'attuale governo.
Ora so che anche gli Stati Uniti hanno enormi problemi e forse sono al limite di una dittatura, seria e reale.
Capisco anche che siate preoccupati per i vostri figli e nipoti, per il loro futuro, ma anche se il popolo americano non si ribellasse a questa vergogna e usurpazione, la democrazia nel resto del mondo sarebbe ugualmente in pericolo.
Quando è necessario ribellarsi, bisogna farlo assolutamente, ma sempre con intelligenza. Se gli americani non si fossero ribellati negli anni '60 o contro l'arroganza di Nixon, la democrazia statunitense sarebbe già morta e la destra fascista del MAGA controllerebbe il destino del mondo intero, con tutte le conseguenze internazionali immaginabili."
